Sisters and Brothers,

I hope you all enjoyed a safe and memorable holiday season. Thank you to everyone who attended our Holiday Party. It was great to see so many members and their families. We hope you enjoyed the food, fun, and camaraderie.

Several school projects are underway across the region, and more than 10% of our Unit 9 members are employed on these jobs. Many of our signatory contractors choose not to pursue this work. Consequently, many of these projects are awarded to nonunion employers. These assignments can be challenging, but they also give us the chance to show what our members can do. Remember, the quality of the work we deliver today determines future opportunities. Our agents are working together to address concerns as they arise, so please reach out if you encounter any issues.

As we move into 2026, let’s carry the spirit of the holidays forward and continue showing the unity and brotherhood that define the IBEW.
