Brothers and Sisters,

I am pleased to announce that our proposed Inside Wireman’s Agreement has been ratified by the membership, with over 61% (4297) of the bargaining unit participating in the vote and 71% (3026) voting YES.

First and foremost, I want to thank every member who took the time to participate in this important process. Your involvement and your vote are what make our union strong. A strong union depends on an engaged membership, and your participation demonstrates the importance of having a voice in the future of our agreement.

This has been a long and challenging negotiation process. Throughout it, your negotiating committee worked hard to secure an agreement that addressed the needs of our membership while protecting our collective interests. I recognize that members held different opinions throughout this process, and I respect every member who took the time to review the proposals and make their voice heard.

With this vote, we move forward together. Our strength has always come from our unity, our solidarity, and our commitment to protecting the wages, benefits, and working conditions that generations of IBEW members have fought to establish.

On behalf of Local 11, I want to thank the negotiating committee for its hard work and dedication, and thank all of you for participating in this important decision.

Our contract has been ratified, and now it is time to move forward together. We may not always agree on every issue, but we are strongest when we remain engaged, stand together, and continue fighting for the best interests of our membership.
