District 2 Report — December 2023

Happy Holidays to everyone and to your families. I wish you all a great and safe New Year.

Thank you to the more than 300 brothers, sisters and their families that attended the annual District 2 Holiday Meeting. It was a great turnout and, as always, thank you to all the volunteers who helped.

The work picture is a little slow as is typical this time of year. Some jobs to keep an eye out for are the Harbor UCLA project with Rosendin/Meadows JV, Harbor College Southeast Hall with CSI and another battery storage facility at AES in Long Beach with Sargent Electric.

I’d like to say thank you to Joël Barton for his many years of service to Local 11 and wish him the best in his retirement.

Welcome Robert Corona as the new Business Manager! I know he will do a great job for our Local.
