Sign the Strike Action Pledge

Brothers and Sisters,

Thank you to the thousands of members who voted on the recent strike authorization, with 87% voting in favor of a strike authorization if we do not reach a tentative agreement on the Inside and Transportation contracts that are set to expire on June 30.

If you haven’t already, please fill out the Strike Action Pledge, and share with others so that we can plan next steps.

Although our contract expires Friday, June 30, we still have not come to an agreement, but we will continue to negotiate.

Your YES vote is a clear statement to contractors and the entire county, that IBEW Local 11 members demand a contract that protects all members from the erosion of income due to inflation, and have a scope of work clause that accurately reflects the advances in technology that electricians already use in the ever-developing energy market.

Our next scheduled meeting is Wednesday, July 5. If we have an agreement to present, you will be sent an electronic voting ballot. Instructions will be provided along with a help line should you encounter any problems.
