Sisters and Brothers, 

The following are the current updates for contract negotiations.

LA City:

Negotiations for successor MOU 2 and MOU 13 agreements are underway. We are currently meeting weekly with the CAO to ensure a tentative agreement as soon as possible. Please attend the next Unit 14 meeting for the latest details. Negotiations for a successor MOU 35 Hiring Hall agreement are progressing.

LAUSD:

We continue to negotiate a successor to our Unit E agreement. The Building Trades held an in-person meeting with our labor-side bargaining team to explain how the implementation of a new retiree health plan is delaying progress, but could ultimately provide us with the leverage we need to achieve the gains we desire. Continued patience is the key.

LA County:

MOU 411 and 412 negotiations are ongoing and progressing slowly. We are currently meeting twice weekly so that we may have a tentative agreement as soon as possible. Updates to follow.
