New Business Manager Appointed Dec 14
On December 14, 2023, at a Special Called Meeting of the IBEW Local 11 Executive Board, Business Manager/Financial Secretary Joël Barton submitted his resignation.
The Executive Board accepted Brother Barton’s resignation and voted to appoint Robert Corona to fulfill the remainder of his term, which runs through the conclusion of Local 11 elections in June 2024.
Brother Barton said:
“It has been my distinct honor and privilege to serve the membership of IBEW Local 11 as the Business Manager/Financial Secretary these past five and a half years.
I have represented the Local through negotiations and a worldwide pandemic, in the political arena and within associated organizations. I have always had the interest of the members and the institution of the IBEW at heart.
I have no regrets as I transition into the next chapter of my life after serving the membership in numerous capacities for the last 24 years.”
