District 6 Report — August 2021

Hello, Brothers and Sisters,

I hope all is well. The hall is good right now, and work looks promising into the future as well.

The District 6 Hall has been moving along, with technical issues being dealt with by our contractors daily. The work has been right here in the District — such as Baker, A&H, and Taft at the City of Hope, along with CSI.

The Foothill Gold Line extension is ramping up slowly, as is Irwindale Brewery, with Johnson Peltier gaining ground as well. 4A Electric is at the Coca-Cola plant in Downey. Baker in Pasadena and Downey are doing a fine job.

Puente School District has CSI with the majority of that work. The City of El Monte and the EV station infrastructure was passed. A big thank you to our volunteers who helped us on short notice — that’s what it takes!

The D6 BBQ Committee helped out with the first annual Motorcycle at the D2/D3 Hall event, as well as with the D4 Chili Cook-Off in San Fernando. Both were very successful and everyone involved was honored to help out the local.

Please look me up for more volunteering opportunities coming up very soon.

Let’s use this momentum and run with it to continue gathering together with our families and friends. The annual picnic is coming up, as is the Labor Day food distribution event. We hope to see you all joining our District 6 hall meetings and engaging in our movement. Take good care of yourselves and be blessed. Feel free to contact me at any time; my honor is to serve this

Respectfully Yours,

Jacob Troncoza
