IBEW 11 CE/CS

CE & CW Report — February 2021

Hello brothers and sisters. I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy through these unusual times!

The recovery from the COVID-19 crisis must lead to a different economy. Everything we do both during and after this crisis must be with the strong focus on building more equal, inclusive and sustainable economies and societies that are more resilient in the face of pandemics, climate change and the many other global challenges we face.

What the world needs now is solidarity. With solidarity, we can defeat the virus and build a better world. Almost every state in the country is down from its February employment levels, thank God our local work has been good.

The CE and CW job calls are about six per day with a few rollovers. We are encouraging all CEs and CWs to register for classes at the Electrical Training Institute. Remember that work hours and school class attendance determine your eligibility for upgrades. Keep your Trainee card current.

If you have any question or concerns about work, medical benefits or classes, do not hesitate to contact me.

Stay healthy.

In solidarity,

Jaime Sanchez
